Terrible customer service.
The goal of this review is to assist potential customers in making an informed decision before engaging the services of Kolbush HVAC, an authorized Bryant dealer. Kolbush has absolutely horrible customer service and communication. During this time period he was late to appointment times that he committed to, he's been a no call no show twice, and is very unreliable in acknowledging text or phone calls. Numerous times he, or his crew, leave without any communication at all, and they NEVER leave service paperwork to document any work performed. We've had to take our own notes and keep a log of all of our issues. On two occasions I've had to stop him on the street as he's leaving in his van to find out when issues that were conveyed to him, or his crew, are going to be resolved. We still have unresolved issues, and now he doesn't return text or calls. Background: We contracted with Kolbush to replace two HVAC systems in our house with Bryant Weathermaker units. After installation of the units we had to immediately call him back because they didn't install an overflow drain in one of the pans and water was pooling under the unit because a drain wasn't installed. We've experienced nothing but issues with the equipment installed. We've had to replace a fan motor in one of the air handlers, a complete compressor failure in one unit, replaced a reversing valve and a needle valve in the other compressor unit. That system was recently out of service for the fourth time in a year. All of these issues occurred within one year of installation. We called Bryant to detail the issues with the equipment installed, and the issues we were experiencing with their authorized contractor. To our surprise, we found out from Bryant customer service that the serial numbers installed belong to a Payne unit which is a division under Bryant. Very deceiving for a customer who thinks they are buying a Bryant name brand system to be installed.
