The lower a/c unit of our home was struggling. Higher humidity, irregular temperature maintenance and running constantly. The crew came out and did an initial diagnostic test which provided an answer but to be more thorough, an additional diagnostic test was conducted. The results were what no home owner wishes to hear but I listened as the scenarios and options were clearly presented to me in laymen terms so that I could make a calculated decision about the project. The decision was made to replace the unit vs. replacing a very expensive part. The newer unit now offers us a more climate controlled environment, substantially quieter running and hopefully, so to be much lower utilities. In closing, the equipment, the parts, all of the instrumentation, etc.... is really only part of this bigger equation. What made the unexpected a/c malfunction experience "lemons into lemonade" moment was the cordial, professional and knowledgeable crew. Even though our visits with Watkins Electric are few and far between, It's always refreshing to see the familiar faces return to our house. Chris, aside from the excellent customer service provided, you must be doing something right with your team! Kudos to all for your continuation of doing excellent work and your professionalism. This was our first time with this contractor, and we were very positively impressed. Fast, courteous, respectful of our home and focused on creating as little disruption to the norm as is possible when removing an old system and installing a new one. Minor installation issue was addressed within minutes of my calling, and that was on a Sunday. Remarkable and almost unheard of.
