Recommend -- Replacement of Existing High Velocity System
We have no complaints about our experience with Chadds Ford Climate Control. We have a 100+ year old home and were looking to replace a 25 year old condenser/high velocity unit. Chadds Ford not only had one of the more competitive quotes, but it also went out of its way to research the type of unit that would be best for our home and explain its conclusions with us. The air handler was located off of the third floor bedroom and the installation team was careful to clean up after itself at the end of each day. The installation team also took care not to damage our railings and hardwood floors. When small issues popped up during and after installation, Chadds Ford was quick to solve them without delay and without any hassle. Recommend.

While searching for a new HVAC installation, we reached out to a total of six (6) different companies in the area who performed home inspections and provided proposals. From the six companies evaluated, Chadds Ford Climate Control was selected with confidence considering their competitive installation cost, technical expertise, and labor/parts warranty. During the home inspection, Martin Smith demonstrated extensive familiarity and experience with HVAC systems by answering each technical question while inspecting the current condition of the system installed as well as the overall house characteristics. Martin went the extra mile and balanced the HVAC system by opening or closing ducts in the basement which resulted in a drastic change on performance – even with the old system. He later provided a detailed load report showing the approach taken to select the appropriate AC and Furnace size. Dennis and Justin showed up on time for the installation. They explained each of the parts being installed and ensured I was satisfied with the work. After the installation, they performed a system operational check to ensure everything was in good working order. A week later, Martin Smith called to ensure I was satisfied with the installation and the overall system performance. He also visited the house to ensure the system was set up correctly for Winter and Summer. Would highly recommend. Very professional and wonderful service!
