Our trusted heating and air experts
We?ve worked with Joe and his team for about 15 years. While they did not install our initial system, they?ve made it work efficiently for many years. Our builder utilized Willis Heating and Air to install our first Bryant geothermal system, and our experience was a disaster! They installed the system incorrectly; leading to high initial utility bills and early failure of several key parts of our system. Willis customer service was rude and their service manager acted like their incompetence was somehow my fault. After more than a year of stress and frustration, I abandoned hope that Willis would make things right and pursued a new supplier. Our local electric coop had a list of local suppliers who have provided proven service to other members; this included Miami Heating and Cooling. On his first visit, Joe identified three installation errors, including; double trapping the humidity drain causing water to back up and infiltrate the main cabinet, failure to remove internal shipping mounts completely negating the internal anti vibration mechanism, and incorrectly configuring the main board to a warmer ambient climate setting causing our system to default to backup emergency heat too quickly wasting money. Once the initial issues were corrected, Miami has provided routine maintenance for several years. Over the past few years, Miami identified signs of corrosion on the coils; unfortunately a common issue with my old unit. We limped the system along until recently when the corrosion led to a big leak. Miami helped us understand the situation and weigh our options, including tax and other incentives to assist covering the high price of a new system. Miami installed our new system and walked us through the steps to operate and optimize the system. I?m confident this system will last many years and provide comfort and efficiency with help and care from Miami.
