Did follow through but was not the best experience
Before I go into my experience I want to say they did come back and fix things. Were very cordial, not sure why things happened the way they did. Based on my estimate from them what I paid for was a Preferred Heat Pump and Air Handler (variable motor). After their installation I double checked the units and found the Air Handler was a Legacy not Preferred unit. When I contacted the installer about the wrong air handler the answer did not make sense (whole story here). Contacted Bryant to verify details, they have been very good for any questions. Contacted dealer back next day and was told the preferred unit was on order. A couple weeks later they came to replace the air handler, Preferred replacing the Legacy Air Handler. When they arrived the Tech was talking about swapping components out of the Preferred into the Legacy unit and would measure. I said no, these two different units. I looked online to check all differences and when I came back to provide details I was told he measured and would not fit anyway. I expect the reason was to save time, money and effort but really left me wondering how you even think to do to a customer where you were correcting an incorrect install. After the install I talked with the owner and mentioned I was going to clean it up, was sloppy looking. He said you paid for a proper install and they would be back out. They did come back to clean it up and it does look better. Two and a half weeks later I just filed the warranty, I understood they would do this and have no clue why it is taking so long. Did not want to wait any further, I just wanted past this whole experience. They all seemed nice, but to me trust is a big thing. Even though they did follow\-up on items and correct things, after me having to chase, I was left not trusting.
