We were faced with a very huge decision when the A/C quit. Then we met Todd from Gainesville Mechanical. He came out on Saturday to look over the unit and the current install. He measured, and discussed all of our options. He took the time with us to go over everything! We we so impressed\-We chose his bid and recommendations. Then the install crew came out\-Jason, Francisco and Stephen they were very professional. Cleaned up everything after themselves\-Explained how to operate the thermostat and left the paperwork for us to read. This was a well worth it experience. What a huge difference!

We needed to replace our entire HVAC system (heating and air conditioning). We obtained estimates from 4 different contacting firms. Each company provided estimates after surveying the existing system. We performed our due diligence by researching the estimated cost and reliability of different brands of systems. Gainsville Mechanical gave us an honest and unassuming estimate for replacing our existing equipment, which was builder grade, with both a variable speed condenser unit and furnace. Jeremy was our sales associate. he was personable and polite. Everything he told us coincided with what we had learned on our own. He made not false pitches or stretched any truth. He advised us on what we needed as well as what we did not need. David and Trent were our installers. They arrived at the appointed time 8:30 a.m. and went right to work. They completed the full install, the testing of the entire system, the cleanup, and a full review of its operation and were gone by 2:00 p.m. They, too, were courteous and they kept me apprised as to how the install was going as they progressed. And by the way, the cost of this upgraded system was lower than the other estimates we received for single and two stage systems. We gained it all by choosing Gainesville.

I gave this 4 starts only because the Bryant unit had to be repaired right after install. I've only had the system 1 week so I can't speak to the efficiency of the 16 seer heat pump yet. It's cooling fine though. David and Trent were great on the install. They were very professional and let me know about everything that was happening. I've always had quality service from Gainesville Mechanical and the techs are top notch.

Every aspect of the service was top of the class. Jeremy met me at the home and explained what we needed and answered all of my questions. Then he ran the necessary tests to determine the exact cooling/heating unit we needs and we discussed all the benefits. Even gave us a portable unit to use until the install could be made!!! Then David and Trent did a fantastic job on the install and educated me on using the new system, and walked me through the new thermostat, etc. Extremely helpful. I have a rental home with elderly couple leasing and the older heat pump quit working in December with cold weather. Upon analysing I was in need of a replacement by technician Ashley and him notifying the project manager Jeremy Clayton he immediately came within the hour to determine what needed to be done and the cost. I knew it would be a problem as the old heat pump was not only on a second floor but also hanging from the rafters in an enclosed attic place blocked by a roof support beam! Fortunately Jeremy determined the New heat pump could be relocated to a lower level. He e\-mailed the cost the same day and it was a price I was happy with and very reasonable considering the amount of work and it being a 2 day job. On the install day the flooring was covered, the old heat pump removed by dismantling it and the New heat pump was installed very professionally by David Huyck and Francsico. They did an excellent job in every way not only installing but in having to build a platform for it, to redo all the wiring, to redo duct work and a variety of jobs to relocate it to a new location and still be able to utilize some of the existing ducts. This is the 3rd heat pump I have bought from Gainesville Mechanical and that they have installed since 2014 as I have some rental houses. I have always found the technicians and employees are well trained, professional. The service is quick and the prices are good and the Bryant units are worth bragging about as they do perform great. Jeremy worked very closely with me looking at features and options for my new Bryant system. Response time to questions was excellent (typically same day). He had a thorough product knowledge and he researched all aspects of the installation before proceeding. Installation team was professional.

Scott upon arriving at my house determined the air conditioner I had had a leaking coil and bad compressor.He was able to quote prices to fix or replace it. I decided best to replace. At that time I was able to order immediately. As the house was a rental and ads were to be coming out 2 days later I mentioned this. The next day William called to inform me that he could have it installed the very next day! The following day David and Francisco arrived and installed it. They also instructed me on the operation of it and the thermostat. This was the most excellent service and installation anyone could hope for. I definitely give a 5 star!
