After 5 different estimates from the highest ranked heating & cooling companies in San Jose, my decision to go with Silicon Valley Comfort was immediate during the walk through consultation with the owner himself, Johnathan Towner. His credentials were impressive, but the way he explained his ideas and portrayed his vision on how he would like to approach my unique project was very impressive and he explained it in such a way that my husband and I would easily understand it. He was the only contractor out of the five estimates I had received, that inspected the ductwork under my home; and with such detail I might add. He drew out the footprint of our house, and mapped out each of our pipes with all the sizes of them and to which room they were for. I was so impressed with the drawn up layout of our existing hvac and ductwork system. He added photos to the document and assigned them to the ducts in the drawing. It was very easy for me to get an entire overview of how our current system was designed. Johnathan and Nina went over their findings and presented us with solutions to consider. There was no doubt that Silicon Valley Comfort was our choice contractor. Both, my husband David and I were happy to move forward with this business. The most impressive part of our experience, was that Nina and Johnathan (the owners) were going to be doing the installation themselves, not a group of employees they have working for them, but the owners themselves are the installation crew, the salesmen and saleswoman, and the service technicians. Silicon Valley Comfort is just Nina & Johnathan. This company was more expensive than the others, but being that the owners both installed everything from start to finish, it was a great investment. My Bryant Furnace and Air Conditioning system works wonderfully. also, I splurged to get the Bryant Evolution Electronic air purifier, and the air is so clean in my home, I used a Testing device to confirm its working as advertised, and the air quality in my home is the best it's ever been.
