Bob Cermignano Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc., honored The Merion Fire Company of Ardmore, Penn., and their volunteer firefighters, with the Bryant® True Hero Award. The award is part of a national program to honor people who have gone above and beyond to make a difference in their communities. True Heroes are those who selflessly devote their lives to serving others.
The Merion Fire Company was nominated for this award for their heroic efforts to rescue someone trapped in an SUV that was swept into dangerous flood waters in September, 2011.
The Merion Fire Company was honored with the True Hero Award during a ceremony at the firehouse. In honor of their efforts, Bob Cermignano has pledged to donate $3,000 to The Merion Fire Company.
“The Bryant True Hero Award is a way to thank people who go out of their way to help others and positively impact their communities,” said Lisa Townley, brand manager for Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems. “Not often recognized for their efforts, Bryant True Heroes are real people who are making a difference in their communities every day.”
